MEET THE GROWER | SDFP FINAL FARM AND MARKET TOUR OF 2020

After a turbulent year in the fruit and vegetable industry we have rolled into December on a positive note with our last Sydney Direct Fresh Produce farm and market tour of the year.

We had the pleasure of taking thirty top flight chefs to several farms in the local NSW area to learn from the grower themselves. To kick off the day we took the chefs to the Sydney Markets to explore the hustle and bustle of the fruit and vegetable industry.

From the markets we went onto learn from the baby vegetable pioneers “The Grima Brothers”. Then we went to see the mushroom growing process from start to finish and wrapped up the day with the Export Fresh crew to learn all things micro herbs.

The day was filled with education, fun and relaxation.
