Have you started to use the new SDFP mobile ordering app?

We have recently launched our new app for ordering on the go. You can save your shopping lists, manage your cold room and stay up to date with all things fresh. Please contact your accounts manager if you need any further support or information about the mobile ordering app.

As part of our "Meet The Grower" series, we will be having a look at what some of our customers are doing with seasonal produce. 

First up is the Executive chef of Jonah's Restaurant & Boutique Hotel, Whale Beach. Matteo Zamboni using Tomatillos from our good friends at Austchilli.

Tomatillos are like a gift. Tart green fruit that's sometimes confused with an unripe tomato, wrapped in a crinkly husk. Peel the wrapping away and you're left with a world of possibility.

Our annual SDFP pine mushroom trip was a huge success this year except for there being no Pine Mushrooms, the weather this year has been dry and not the best for the season. 

On the other hand, It enabled us to get to know our customers that little bit more, allow chefs to interact with one another, hear Diego’s aka (The Weedy One) stories, team up and make a memorable experience. Thank you to everyone who joined us.
