When a box of fresh white asparagus lands in front of Sydney provedore Luke Kohler direct from one of his key growers, he immediately snaps a photo of the earthy delicacy and uploads it to social media to whet the appetite of the state’s top chefs.

Karl is based in the Sydney Markets daily making sure that all the bulk purchased fruit and vegetables are of the Sydney Direct Fresh Produce standard. Everything from a simple onion to boutique herbs and exotic fruits. Karl will be scouring the markets to source them first for our customers.

Karl is all about knowing the customer's needs, market knowledge, and people skills.

SDFP owner Luke Kohler has a deadline for the opening of the new warehouse, and his staff are adjusting to the change. 

LUKE SAYS ”As a business owner the most difficult thing is to manage my staff's emotions and needs. I am always open and honest with them so they can see the bigger picture and that the change is good”.
